企画名：「サッカーボールをパスして、みんなと対話しよう！Pass the soccer ball and interact with everyone!」
本企画は、スポーツ、特に「サッカー」の力を通じて、コロナ禍により停滞していた学内の交流を活性化させることを目的として、2021年12月に活動を開始しました。参加者は、本学の日本人学生、外国人留学生、教職員、研究員、卒業生など、多様な背景を持つメンバーで構成されています。活動開始以降は、毎週末に大学のサッカー場や体育館で定期的に練習を行い、継続的な交流の場を提供してきました。参加者の数も順調に増加しており、2026年9月現在では、約50名が本企画に関わっています。参加メンバーで構成されたサッカーチーム「KickChat FC」は、大学のスポーツ・デーにおけるサッカーやフットサル競技への参加をはじめ、活動の幅を着実に広げています。さらに、本企画のプランナーが申請・採択された筑波大学の社会貢献プロジェクトと連携し、地域にサッカーを楽しめる場を提供する取り組みも展開しています。今後も、スポーツが持つ力を信じ、「ボールをパスする＝対話する」というコンセプトのもと、キャンパス内外における異文化理解の深化と多文化共生の促進に貢献していきたいと考えています。
Project Title: “Pass the Soccer Ball and Interact with Everyone!”
This project was launched in December 2021 with the aim of revitalizing interaction within the university community, which had been significantly disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, through the power of sport—particularly soccer.
Participants come from a wide range of backgrounds and include Japanese students, international students, faculty and staff members, researchers, and alumni of the University of Tsukuba. Since its launch, the project has provided ongoing opportunities for interaction through regular weekend soccer sessions held at the university’s soccer fields and gymnasiums.
Participation has steadily grown, and as of September 2026, approximately 50 people are involved in the project. KickChat FC, a soccer team formed by project participants, has also continued to expand its activities, including participation in soccer and futsal competitions at the University of Tsukuba Sports Day.
In addition, the project collaborates with a University of Tsukuba Social Contribution Project proposed and led by the project planner, extending its activities beyond the campus to provide opportunities for people in the local community to enjoy soccer.
We will continue to harness the power of sport under the concept of “passing the ball means starting a dialogue,” contributing to deeper intercultural understanding and the promotion of multicultural inclusion both on and beyond campus. |
| 具体的な活動計画 |
本企画の2026年10月から2027年3月にかけての活動計画は以下のとおりです。
①サッカー練習を通しての異文化交流
日時：毎週末２時間程度を予定
場所：春日体育館、第2サッカー場等
内容：ウォームアップ、基礎練習、ゲーム形式など未経験の方には経験者がサポートします。
各自持参するもの：運動できる服装、室内用フットサルシューズまたは屋外用サッカースパイク、フットサルボールまたはサッカーボール
②異文化交流e-sportsサッカー大会
日時：2026年10月または11月を予定
場所：スチューデント・コモンズ
内容：実際に体を動かしてのサッカーには抵抗を感じる外国人留学生、日本人学生をターゲットにe-sportsサッカー大会を開催し、ゲームを楽しむ中でキャンパス内の異文化交流を促進します。使用するソフトは人気サッカーゲーム「FC25」を予定しています。ゲーム機「PS4」をプロジェクタに繋ぎ大スクリーンでプレイして盛り上がります。ゲームで対戦したり共同プレーをする中で言語の壁を超えて参加者間の交流を深めることを意図しています。
③社会貢献プロジェクトと連携した近隣住民とサッカー交流できる場の共有
日時：毎月1回程度
場所：第2サッカー場
ワニナルサッカー部の関係者とコラボし、国籍、性別を問わず近隣住民とサッカーができる場所を共有します。
The activity plan for this project from October 2026 to March 2027 is as follows:
1. Intercultural Exchange through Soccer Practice
Date and Time: Approximately two hours every weekend
Venue: Kasuga Gymnasium, 2nd Soccer Ground, etc.
Activities:
Sessions will include warm-ups, basic soccer exercises, and small-sided games. Experienced participants will provide support for beginners and those with little or no previous soccer experience.
What to Bring:
Participants should bring comfortable sportswear, indoor futsal shoes or outdoor soccer cleats, and a futsal or soccer ball.
2. Intercultural e-Sports Soccer Tournament
Date: October or November 2026
Venue: Student Commons
Activities:
An e-sports soccer tournament will be organized primarily for international and Japanese students who may feel hesitant about participating in physical soccer activities. The tournament will provide an accessible and enjoyable opportunity to promote intercultural interaction on campus through gaming.
We plan to use the popular soccer video game EA SPORTS FC 25. A PlayStation 4 (PS4) will be connected to a projector, allowing participants to play together on a large screen and enjoy the excitement of the tournament.
Through both competitive matches and cooperative play, the event aims to encourage communication and interaction among participants beyond language barriers.
3. Soccer Exchange with Local Residents in Collaboration with the Social Contribution Project
Date and Time: Approximately once a month
Venue: 2nd Soccer Ground
Activities:
In collaboration with members of the Waninaru Soccer Club, we will provide opportunities for project participants and local residents to come together and enjoy soccer, regardless of nationality or gender.
By sharing an inclusive space for soccer, this activity aims to foster interaction between the university and the surrounding community and to promote connections among people from diverse backgrounds. |
